Lynn Loeb: April’s Employee of the Month
SDCEA recognizes Lynn Loeb for her outstanding hospitality service in April. Exceeding expectations to create memorable experiences, Loeb’s exceptional service, warm demeanor, and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable part of our team.
Lynn Loeb was hired on December 5, 2023, and works in the lodge as a Member Guest Service Agent. Whether assisting guests with a smile or ensuring every detail is perfect, she embodies the true spirit of hospitality.
She greets every guest as they enter and leave the clubhouse, assists with hotel check-in and check-out, coordinates phone reservations for hotel guests, group guests, and homeowner guests, and provides all clubhouse knowledge, including hours of business for the restaurant, bar, snack bar, and golf shop. She coordinates the reservations for pickleball and tennis court usage, directs homeowners to CRD and/or HOA offices, and is the hub of all information for our homeowners.
Her lead, Mary Ellen Stevens, Lodge Manager at the San Vicente Resort, says that Loeb goes above and beyond with exceptional hospitable service. A guest was checking in, and Lynn asked her what brought her to the San Vicente Resort. The guest told Lynn she was celebrating her birthday with a staycation at the resort. Lynn then asked Front of the House Manager Colleen Doulgeropoulos for a birthday amenity, and they both brought a birthday dessert surprise to the guest’s room and sang her happy birthday.
According to Mary Ellen, Lynn is a great team player. She is always willing to come in on short notice to cover shifts when needed. We are incredibly lucky to have her on the team!
Lynn loves to hike, kayak, travel, and read on her time off. She mostly loves to spend time with her family, especially her six grandchildren. Heather McGhee, Marketing and Public Relations Manager at the San Diego Country Estates Association, adds that Loeb is a runner and has raced in holiday races such as the Santa Run and Turkey Trot.
According to Crystal Carle, Accounting Assistant and a member of the Human Resources Team, some interesting facts about Lynn are that she and her husband owned and operated a successful electrical business for over 40 years. She worked at the San Diego Tourism Authority for over five years and was in Management for Title Nine Retail Clothing.
Lynn enjoys working and living in our beautiful community. She loves meeting new guests and homeowners, working with co-workers she found out are her neighbors, and simply providing outstanding customer service to ensure a great experience at San Vicente Resort.
Her attention to detail and passion for outstanding service make a lasting impact, creating experiences that keep guests coming back. We are proud to recognize Lynn Loeb for her positive attitude and commitment to excellence, which sets an excellent example for the entire team.
