Timeless Elegance: November’s Home of the Month

Welcome to our Home of the Month, a stunning residence that blends elegance and spacious comfort, offering an ideal sanctuary for luxury living.

Regina Flores is the owner of November’s Home of the Month. She has been selling local Ramona real estate for 23 years—since she moved to her beautiful home in SDCE. She is a real estate broker and owns Regina Flores Real Estate Group and Ramona Home Staging. “I caught the real estate bug when I wanted to sell my last home. I thought it might be fun to sell my own home, so I got my license,” says Flores.

Flores moved to Ramona from Poway for a simpler life to raise her young kids. “Community and a safe place to live is important to me,” she says. Her two children are now grown, and her daughter Christie, who also bought a home here in SDCE, just had her first baby three months ago. Flores’ son, Rick, lives in Irvine and just got engaged to his college sweetheart, Kylie. Her kids graduated from Ramona High and still have many friends here.

“I fell in love the minute I walked into this beautiful home,” says Flores. “It’s 4,000 sq ft, single level, and next to James Dukes, which my kids could walk to when they were growing up. It is east-facing, and the sunrises are so beautiful at my front door that sometimes, it takes my breath away. We have a loft, formal dining room, and lots of space here.” The spaciousness also allows room for her pets; she is a cat lover and has rescued, fostered, and adopted many cats over the years.

The interior architecture of her five-bedroom home is quite stunning. The Mediterranean-style home is described as “Rancho Santa Fe living in Ramona.” Upgrades include painting the inside and outside, beautiful Brazilian Koa wood flooring, remodeling the bath and kitchen, and updating the water heaters and AC/furnace systems. The tongue-in-groove vaulted wood ceilings and three fireplaces throughout make for warm and cozy living. The front and back yards are hard-scaped, which helps save on the water bill.

Flores says she is honored that her home was chosen for home of the month since there are so many beautiful homes in SDCE. Congratulations Regina Flores!
