Meet the Candidates Night: Your Voice, Your Vote

San Diego Country Estates homeowners gathered on Monday, Feb. 24, for the 2025 Board of Directors Meet the Candidates Night. Board President Jeffrey Wells introduced our new General Manager, Carl Weise, who moderated the event. This engaging event provided the perfect opportunity to connect with neighbors, enjoy light appetizers, and get to know the eight candidates shaping the future of our community.

The structured agenda allowed members to become familiar with each candidate. Candidates introduced themselves, participated in a seven-question Association-focused Q&A session, and delivered brief closing statements. Each question was answered by a different candidate first, ensuring balanced participation.

“It was nice to meet the people we are voting for. It’s a good way to learn about what each one has to offer,” said homeowner Jesus Maya.

Please note: Deanne Markle has withdrawn from the election.
