SUMMER IMAGICAMP 2008
Ages 5-11, $115.00 per full week, unless otherwise noted.  Camp Hours 8:30am-4:30pm.
Extended care available: 6:30-8:30am @ $2.00/day; 4:30-6:30pm @ $2.00/day.
Registration fee is $15.00, this includes a camp t-shirt. 
Take a ride in our 'time machine' as our summer adventure begins. The first week our campers will be zapped back to prehistoric time, each week following, we'll try to return "Back to the Future".  Our weekly time period will be a test of survival, as we are trapped there until we transport to the next week. Crafts will be made, science and nature will be explored, foods prepared, and games played, all to make a memorable summer for your camper.
BACK TO THE FUTURE"
WEEK #1      PREHISTORIC TIMES:  WOW, we've been transported to the days when the
6/16-6/20       dinosaurs walked the earth. Fossils, cavemen, and our own version of a dinosaur dig                                              will be highlights for a week of fun. Field Trip: Movie & Park
WEEK #2      ANCIENT EGYPT:   After last week our campers will be glad to explore the world
6/23-6/27       of mummies and pyramids. Deciphering hieroglyphics will add to this week of Egypt's
                      secrets.  Field Trip: Movie & Park
WEEK #3      GREEK OLYMPICS:  Upon arriving in 500 BC Greece, our center will become
6/30-7/3          an arena for the Olympics. Join us for a sport week that will, of course, include
                      some unique versions of the original Greek sports.   Field Trip to Lake Dixon       
                      COST: $92.00 (There are only four days in this week due to the 4th of July on Friday)
WEEK #4      ROMAN EMPIRE:  ZAP! We are here in Rome to test our 'master builder'
 7/7-7/11         skills as we try to recreate an empire like no other. Remember, Rome wasn’t
                       built in a day, It'll probably take us the whole week.   Field Trip: Pump It Up        
WEEK #5      NEW WORLD 1492: We find ourselves, traveling on the sea to an  
7/14-7/18        unknown land, America. The voyage is long and all aboard have to keep a
                      watchful eye out for pirates.   Field Trip: Pump It Up                                         
WEEK #6      WEST WARD HO: Hot! Hot! Hot! We are traveling by wagon train, headed
7/21-7/25        west to look for GOLD. How will we ever get back to 2008. Now we have the
                      added burden of learning how to be a cowboy to earn our keep.  
                      Field Trip: Ice Skating
WEEK #7      BLAST TO THE PAST 1950'S: Life without computers, or video games. What
7/28-8/1         kind of place is this? While we're stuck in the 1950's lets take a look at how to
                      have simpler fun.    Field Trip: Ice Skating
WEEK #8      THAT 70'S WEEK: We all want to experience the freedom of the 1970's.
8/4-8/8            Learning how to tie dye and express our imagination will be highlights to this 
                      week of personal discovery.    Field Trip: Wave Waterpark
                             COST: $135.00  (This includes transportation, admission to park, and lunch)
WEEK #9      LOST IN SPACE:  What happened? We have overshot our own era. Now we
8/11-8/15         can get a glimpse of what the future could possibly be like. When will we ever
                      get to our own time?  Field Trip: Torrey Pines Beach        
WEEK #10    SDCEA 2008: Finally, back to our own time and in our own back yard. Sand, the
8/18-8/22        sea and a tropical farewell to summer. This will be our ending to a fantastic summer
                      of fun discovery. Field Trip: Torrey Pines Beach

ENGINEERING FUNDAMENTALS WITH LEGO

Explore concepts in physics, mechanical/structural engineering, and architecture while playing with your
favorite creations. This is a hands-on  & minds-on class suitable for LEGO novices to  'maniacs". This class is not affiliated with the LEGO group.

HT MARTIAL ARTS-KARATE CLASSES
