Alignment-based Yoga

In the style of BKS Iyengar, classes use prop work to help students achieve proper alignment and maximum benefit from poses. We focus on building a connection between the mind, body, and the heart as we work on bringing strength, stability, balance, and flexibility into our asana practice and our lives. All ages/levels.  Kid’s classes are available too!

Jujitsu

Jujitsu is the “gentle art” of self-defense. Through the practice of martial arts, children and adults learn the virtues of self-discipline, balance, focus, and self-confidence.  This is a fun, learning environment.
 
Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:15 - 5:15pm, Children & Youth, 5:15 - 6:15 pm, Adults & Youth | $50.00 per student per month for as many classes as you are able to attend.

Karate 

Halstead’s tang soo do, which implies self-defense by the means of hands and feet without the use of artificial weapons. 
Ages 6 or older - Tuesdays, 7:00 - 8:00pm.  First lesson free!  Classes held in the Rotunda.  Register Gearld Denney, 760-788-0534

POUND Class  

POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, pilates, strength, plyometric and isometric poses. Using lightweight drumsticks, called ripstix, you’ll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, POUNDing off pounds to each song!

Walking Group 

“Ramona Moms on a Mission” get fit together!  This is a stroller-friendly walking group for those that have little ones.  We can also incorporate other exercises to help get into shape. “like” our Facebook page:“Ramona Moms on a Mission” so you can stay in the loop. Zumba

 Come and join the party and try Zumba Fitnesswith Jenn! Zumba Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio dance workout.  You will surely work up a sweat in a fun energetic environment.  Zumba is for everyone!  Try your first class for free!  Mondays 6:30 - 7:30 pm (Annex Trailer) & Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 pm (Rec Center) Cost: $5 drop-in fee or $35/month.  Classes began in January.  For more information, call Jenn 760-547-3119
